What were you thinking??
It's a pity I have to give this app any stars at all! This is a classic case of taking the good and over-engineering it to its point of absolute uselessness! Surely you guys aren't sleeping nights knowing that the whole of the Australian footy tipping public hates you! The top-left red button never works and the app just stalls! The margin selected for the first game disappears during the game which is v frustrating! Navigation is senseless and illogical. You never know whether your tips have been accepted without pressing submit about 5 times. The icon no longer changes to indicate tip entry. I have had it with this app. Unless touring back the tried & true app format from last year that works, I'm walking to any other tipping app that works. This one doesn't!
It's a shame to write something less than positive, however, feedback should be considered a positive. As well as an opportunity to improve.
Compared to its release, I find this app anything but intuitive and actually quite clunky.
The adds are intrusive. There is a constant error message upon loading. Plus, I don't understand why results and competition positions cannot be updated immediately. It's not as though someone has to manually assess them.
One of the biggest mistakes I see many companies make is ignoring or failing to act on feedback. Whilst I agree that on occasion, consumers may need time to familiarise themselves with a new product, in the majority of cases, wholesale change causes angst and annoyance thereby losing customers.
That is why, if change is necessary, it should be incremental, logical and part of a planned phased approach.
A customer focus should make you ask yourself "is this what the client wants?" rather than you telling the customer what "you" think they want.
Listen to the voices.
Apparently the developers think they are doing a good job!
This is rubbish. You've taken last years app and completely screwed it. Check this reply from the developers when I emailed them:
"We appreciate that it may take a little time to get used to the new app. We will continue to improve the site to ensure the best experience for the user. The new update has many advantages you will hopefully enjoy once you become more familiar with the new interface.
We are aware of some issues still occurring through customer feedback, our team will continuously work to ensure any bugs/issues that may arise will be resolved asap."
