Good but needs some improvements
Apart from the initial glitch that most people have struggled with getting registered on the app it is pretty good at what its job is; helping you find jobs that suit your needs. However, some changes to the app would lead it to being even better at its job and more user friendly. Some changes that should be made are the user being able to change their search location from their current location so people can search for jobs when they are not in the area or if they are moving, improvements to the running of the messenger section and being able to put in your own search prompts instead of only having the provided ones.
Overall it’s a really good app and I have been successful in using it and getting a number of interviews.
Hey there Karise believer! Thanks so much for your feedback! It's really great to hear you've been getting interviews from using Found. We're continuously wanting to improve, so I will pass your feedback on to the rest of the development team :-)
Not very student friendly
I understand that searching for jobs is a more out of school thing but the app is not very student friendly. As someone who has only done one week of work experience and has no referees (excluding family and friends etc) it was difficult to fill in the details to complete my profile. I had also recently moved school and there was no option to specify I had recently moved. It would be nice to have options that allow users to specify these sort of things.
It's difficult/confusing to reach the 4 star minimum profile as a student that has recently move, no experience and no "professional referees".
Hey there, thanks for your feedback! We understand that a lot of our users are looking for work for the first time. Please note that a referee can be anyone who can vouch for you - this can be a teacher, family friend or relative. Please also note that you can add as many schools as you want, simply tap the plus icon in the top right. I hope this has answered most of your queries - should you have any other questions, please feel free to drop us a line at email@example.com
Like Tinder for Jobs
The app is very user friendly and visually inviting. You don’t even feel like you’re looking for a job.
I feel this app will be more effective when more companies/businesses have joined. I found I would run out of jobs in the categories I’m interested in (admin, office support).
A great additional feature would be to have the ability to change your response to an ad or offer. I accidentally rejected a job I would have liked to hear more about. The opposite also occurred - I accepted an offer for a job that I was not interested in and then had to have an awkward conversation with the manager when she called me. 😬
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback! We recommend considering each job carefully before ticking or crossing. We're glad you're enjoying using Found, all the best to you on the job hunt!
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
