Customer Reviews

Lots of potential... not quite there

Have been using the Freeview app for a little while and find that it works well for its current purpose. The TV Guide is useful but desperately needs improvement to display all channels in the Timezone of the user (ie ABC programs -- if not in eastern Australian Timezone -- are not displayed properly). This is a must fix.

Not all channels available

I thought this was finally a good offering with all the free-to-air channels in one place. Unfortunately I quickly discovered this was not the case when giving it a spin.

ABC, SBS and Seven Network channels stream fine. Nine Network channels asks you to download and install 9Now, after which you have to sign up to an account to even watch anything. Network Ten channels just say "Not available at this time."

In this digital age, people want convenience. I just want easy access to all the Freeview channels when I'm not able to access a TV. Nine and Ten are holding this app back, which is a big shame. Freeview - not quite there yet.

Call me back when I can stream all the networks without requiring extra apps for some network or to sign up for needless accounts.

Don't Bother

You have to download other channels apps to watch it. Freeview app is useless. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
