Good intentions poorly executed

There is a lot to like here. Great photography of the species listed. Several species have more than one image. The information is great.

The explore function is really good, but would probably only be truly useful if the app had a complete list of species.

Search function works once before freezing- not working until the app is closed and reopened. Frog proximity function causes the app to crash. Species aren't listed in any workable format- listing by common name doesn't help you see related/similar species.

Photos are small, not-zoomable and often not indicative of typical appearance (see Litoria jervisiensis).

If the glitches and crashes were fixed this app would be great for the general public who want to know more about frogs.

A generous two stars.

Not very good.

This app needs a lot of work! The frog sounds didn't work for me at all. It shuts down every now and then. I think people should structure there field guides more like the Michael Morcombe bird guide. So simple and gives you every thing you need to know! Plus the sounds of each bird. Also the pics of the frogs are Poor quality until you press on photo. Not good for id.

Needs updating with more species

Has a lot of potential but is missing quite a few frog species including the entire genus of Cophixalus.
