Fuel Map is a crowd-sourced database of petrol stations and fuel prices from all across Australia. All station information is added and edit by users like yourself.
You can also add current fuel prices which are then shared with other users of Fuel Map.
Fuel Map also shows real-time fuel prices for WA, NSW, and QLD, sourced from government resources.
Stations in WA show prices for both today and tomorrow! (Tomorrow's prices available after 2:30pm)
Locations of petrol stations are shown on the map as a branded pin with the last known fuel price displayed above.
The slide-in site list makes it easy to find the cheapest petrol station near-by in seconds.
Fuel Map also comes with a handy fuel log so you can keep track of your fuel purchases, as well as your vehicle's fuel economy.

It saved us from running out of fuel
On a recent trip in Tasmania we drove for a few hours till we got to Queenstown and headed to a servo to refuel. However, Queenstown was having an electricity power blackout at the time and the pumps weren't working. So I used this Fuel Map app to locate the next town with diesel and used the phone number in the app to ring them. They were waiting on a delivery but had very little diesel left. With not enough fuel to get further than the next town we decided to spend time at the local museum in Queenstown and wait for the power to come back on a couple of hours later. We were able to make an informed decision with the help of Fuel Map rather than end up running out of diesel and being stuck on the side of the road or having to wait days at the next town unable to go anywhere. It's only as good as the information other users enter. Now I keep my local servo details updated to help other travellers who may be passing through where I live. This app is wonderful and very easy to use. It's an essential app to have when travelling around Australia.
Very useful for travellers
I found this app when preparing for my motorcycle trip around Australia.
It has been very useful, but hope you can take onboard some suggestions.
1. Allow to show stations without zooming in - Australia is a big place and when travelling up to 1000km in a day it would be easier to look further ahead.
2. Showing selected fuel type is great, but showing all fuel types at selected station would be better.
My bike takes 95RON, but some remote stations don't have it. I need to know what the alternatives are as I can use 98 for a period, and I can use 91 but it affects performance and consumption, which may be critical over remote long distances .
Also as I learned, 98RON may not pump when the ambient temperature is very high.
3. It would be easier to update the current price if the existing price remained in the field as you updated, because often it is the same price, but you just want to refresh the information so others know it's more current.
Thanks for the app though, it has been a great help.
This is great to use and easy to update data. A few things could be better though like having an off line map and data when you have no service. Being able to see the service stations in wide field view not just the map and having to zoom into fairly close to see if there is a service station in the region, something like WikiCamps do for sites, show in wide field the number of stations in the area of zoom. Sometimes just finding that there's fuel available in the area is what you need. Especially if your in an area where fuel is scarce...
