FulGaz brings outdoor training indoors like no other app can. We've got everything from Olympics and Tour de France courses to fun little rides in places nobody's ever heard of except the locals. All in HD, filmed on bikes so it looks and feels like you're actually riding. We have rides suitable for all levels of riders from Olympians to people who haven't ridden in years.
FulGaz replicates real rides in a highly accurate way. It mimics the load spikes and micro rests you experience on real climbs so you're not just replicating the watts you'll need to climb better, you're replicating the torque too. In other words you can become strong and nimble, instead of a one speed plodder.
Incredible road feel for smart trainer owners via Bluetooth Smart. This includes, Wahoo, Tacx, Elite, CycleOps, Wattbike Atom and Kinetic.

Bringing the Apple TV look and features to the iPad and iPhone. The new layout matches the Apple TV version and includes improved searching, plus the ability to order rides by date added, distance, elevation gain, duration and toughness. The aim is to keep things as simple as possible so you can just get on and ride.
Video playback improvements
Advanced streaming improves performance on slower internet connections
Ride buffer screen lets you warm up while the video buffers in the background
Choose between two video CDNs to find the one that gives you the best performance in your location
Ride management screen lets you know which videos are taking up space
Bernard the virtual training partner
Ride against a virtual opponent's time. Either keep it simple and just plug in his average power, or fine tune his weight, drag and how hard he goes up or down specific gradient ranges. Ideal for practicing time trial pacing strategies
Favourites and setting are now saved to the user account
For example, favourites saved to the iPhone will appear on the Apple TV, or settings on an iPad will be seen on an iPhone.
Improvements to Real Road Feel
Not just the complete set of terrain effects for the Tacx Neo, variable rolling resistance for all trainers, depending on the terrain.
Individualised trainer control
Each type of trainer reacts to instructions at different rates. FulGaz now gives slower trainers more warning of upcoming changes so they can perform correctly. For example, the Wattbike Atom receives instructions 2 seconds before a KICKR. The user doesn't have to do anything. It gets set up automatically when the device is connected.
Make the power display behave like a bike computer, choose average power duration from 0 to 12 seconds
Support for Spin bikes
FulGaz will now work with a very simple setup that doesn't require a trainer or power meter to be connected.
Fix for Elite Direto not changing resistance if they have been calibrated by the user
Fix for Wahoo KICKR sometimes not responding in sync to the gradient
Fix for a bug that could cause data dropouts from the TICKR X to crash FulGaz
more than 50 performance enhancements and bug fixes.
Big speed improvements when streaming from a local network
Ratings and Reviews
I have been using FulGaz for about a year, it’s amazing. Incredibly realistic road feel and due to the variety of rides it is not in the least bit boring. I haven’t done the same ride twice so far which keeps it far more interesting.
I use it with a Tacx Neo, a Wahoo Tickr HR monitor (as it is Bluetooth compatible) and it runs straight off my iPad via a lightning to HDMI adapter to a TV. It works suberbly and is a great way to get a session in, especially on a cold or rainy morning. Highly recommended.
Very ordinary indeed
From the beginning this app did not impress.
1. The app password field did not permit the use of 1Password nor KeyChain.
2. The words in the registration form’s field labels were mostly not visible as the instructions sentence was too long to to fit and failed to continue on to another line.
There was insufficient explanation when going into the setting.
There was to much mucking about with settings. Both Sufferfest and Zwift were superior by a long shot in this respect.
The test ride selected was incredibly underwhelming.
Soundtrack was boring (non existent)
Screen HD content was equally underwhelming.
No pizazz whatsoever - not motivating at all.
So ordinary - just awful.
And to top it all off there appeared to be any way to delete my account.
I might be being a bit picky, but, in view of how most online subscriptions work, it would have been more helpful to clearly state the trial subscription did not renew automatically.
4 years and counting.
I have been using Fulgaz for 3 + years and it is my preferred APP for virtual training as the real footage is much more interesting than a cartoon. Has a great range of courses, with on screen stats, and the new update is excellent. Fulgaz kept me sane during injury rehab 4 years ago, but I love it so much that I ride it more than the road now......just brilliant!
