Requesting a GoCatch is simple:

- Confirm and you’ll see your driver’s arrival in real-time on the map, along with their picture, vehicle and contact details.
- Payment with GoCatch is easy. If you’re paying with Apple Pay, PayPal or your saved credit/debit card in a GoCatch Economy, Premium, Taxi or Maxi, simply hop out at the end and it’ll be automatically paid for in-app. Taxi & Maxi also accept cash payments.

Harassing and hopeless
I do not recall ever downloading this app and currently it is not on my phone, I use Uber which is in direct competition. This is why when I received an unwarranted, harassing phone call and subsequent text messages from the manager of this company from a personal mobile phone number, at 9am I was confused and disappointed enough to write this review. Pushing a service which is completely useless at an inappropriate time of day, through unverifiable means is moronic. This company refused to answer my questions, would not comply with my request to be removed from their database and continually repeated the backwards reasoning for this heinously out-of-touch marketing ploy. My preference to communicate in writing through text message was also denied and treated patronisingly. 0/5 do not recommend, definitely do not download, who knows what they'll do with your info!
This may be an app glitch - when the driver arrived (on time and as booked substitutes for a taxi) the driver put the meter on. I said I had paid by the app and would not pay the meter fare. He said the trip had been cancelled (he thought by me) and was no longer on his system and if I did not pay he would not get paid but he would give me a receipt and I could sort it out later with GoCatch. We got out the car down the road a bit and he left ... not in a good mood. We ordered another car and all went without hitch. The difference GoCatch fare and meter fare is about $25-$35. This could be a driver trying to get extra fare or it could have been an App glitch.

Interface and feed back in desperate need of a fix
- App won’t remember my home address
- App cancelled my second last trip at the last minute. Made both the driver and I question it’s stability
- during my ride today I couldn’t go to the app to check on it it disappeared till the end of the trip
- app doesn’t understand there are three stages to a trip: before during and after. Need to address all three.
- I don’t feel the app was tested with users.
I received a reply from Go Catch this week.
- They directed me to where my home address was supposed to be but didn’t address why it wasn’t there.
-they condescending told me not to press the cancel button or the trip will be cancelled. duh! If it’s easy to accidentally cancel the trip, when you have your phone in your hand and bringing your bags to the cab, maybe the cancel is too easy. But I suspect it wasn’t cancelled as both driver and I noted it’s sudden disappearance.

Hi wheelyweb, thanks for your feedback! We've extensively tested the app with our user-base to ensure we provide the best experience possible.
The app will save recently used addresses for your next trip. Simply tap the pickup/destination field and your address should be in the list. As for the trip cancellation, ensure you don't tap the (X) button accidentally, otherwise it will cancel the trip.
When a driver has accepted your trip request, you'll be able to track them on a map towards your pickup point, with an estimated pickup time, driver details and the ability to call or SMS them. Once they collect you, it'll switch over to an in-trip experience with an estimated arrival time. Once the trip is complete, you'll be able to see the total cost for your trip and rate the driver.
If the app isn't open, make sure your phone settings are correct, with location services turned on and ensure you have a 3G/4G data connection.
