Mates? What mates
Is a quick and easy way to view your own handicap and track comp performance. Don't know why it's called "mates" though. Surely can't be too hard to add in functionality to track your best mates scores and comp performance. Understand you don't want one person in the group to pay and then look up everyone's scores for free but PLEASE if four of us have paid for the app let us all track each other's scores?!
We've got a group of 15 mates who all play golf and if the above functionality is added in all will pay for the app and get it, rather than just the 4 of us who have told the rest that the app is not worth it in current state
Ok, but needs a lot of work.
This app is ok as I can easily view my current GA handicap and my round history.
But it would be massively helpfully if I could sort a round placing by grade rather than having to scroll through and figure it out for myself.
Also, since mates is supposed to track stats as well maybe the developers should make it so you can add the and view stats of your round through the app rather than having to go through the website, which isn't to good either.
The app itself is ok. I can view my history and handicap quick and easy but what does annoy me is the H'cap predictor. All I get is a question mark when I hit the predictor button. What is the point if having this function if it clearly doesn't work? It's advertised as a working function yet it's useless...disappointing to say the least.
