“The real hook is the CCG that serves as the game’s engine. Fortunately, it’s fantastic.”

Card City Nights is an adventure through a city filled with card-nuts and lunatics. Battle for the 8 legendary cards to enter the biggest competition this city has seen yet.

Card City Nights is not a traditional card-trading game. It's an adventure game with zany characters to meet and weird locations to explore. In the center is our new card battle system that breaks away from the fantasy TCG mold with connecting cards to form combos.

* 8+ hours of gameplay in a singleplayer adventure
* Connect cards to form combos
* 180 unique cards with characters from the Ludosity universe
* No IAP's in this game! You collect booster packs by simply playing the adventure from start to finish

Ratings and Reviews

Card collecting at its best.

Perfect combination of card collecting, deck-building and strategy. This kept me entertained for countless hours.
Nice progression from easy battles to difficult.
Very, very well done.

This game is awesome, I've been playing it more or less non stop. I wish there was a multiplayer mode so you could play against human opponents. The ai is pretty good, but as you get better at the game it gets too easy to beat.

Exceptional value and very fun

I got 12 hours of gameplay not including post game content from a game worth $1. That is very good by itself, but the gameplay manages to remain fun throughout that duration as well. The visual aesthetic/art direction is quite charming and silly, which I very much appreciate. It starts out way too easy and you might have some concerns about the AI, but after two hours you realise it was easy on purpose just to teach you the game and the AI gets quite challenging and cheeky later on, it starts to use some sneaky tricks and good planning. The core gameplay is quite nice, combining a card game with some minor puzzle elements that has a lot of hidden depth as you go further in. I was able to create 3 very powerful "themed" decks based on various card synergies that all played completely differently from each other, from my rush down offensive deck to my defensive stalling deck. The card collecting, deck building, and card design both visually and gameplay wise is all very impressive and I spent a lot of time simply experimenting with decks and farming booster packs from NPCs. The game's writing is also very witty and self-aware, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable as a whole. This game has no microtransactions or advertising from what I can tell which is a big plus mark. As you can see from my rant, I think very highly of this game. It was also just updated with post game content and additional cards, so it's a great time to pick it . If you have even a passing interest in trading card games, collecting cards and building decks, then you should definitely try it. I look forward to whatever the developer Ludosity cooks up next. Five stars, well done.
