Ideament lets you easily draw a diagram - mind map, concept map, or flow chart - and convert it to a text outline, and vice versa. You can use Ideament for anything, such as brainstorming new ideas, illustrating concepts, making lists and outlines, planning presentations, creating organizational charts, and more!
Create Ideas Instantly

Nice just nereda few more things
IT would be be really useful if we could give a connection/link a name. When you connect shapes many of us like to know the nature of that connection too
... but I quickly hit the ceiling of it’s limitations. Good for really simple stuff.
This app is very niche and very useful. I wanted to graphically represent our company account system and also our media hard drive set up, and after playing with this app, I now have neat little diagrams I can show colleagues to help them understand things a little easier.
I did an 'idea' using my family tree to test the list interface (you get a flow chart drawing version of an 'idea' that is also shown as a list version) and found that so long as I could quickly flip between drawing and list versions, it was pretty easy to work out. I think having both versions is essential.
A few suggestions for improvement:
An 'arrow' option, to show directional relationships.
The ability to link two boxes/circles in a non hierarchical way (for example, mum and dad are linked, but I have to put dad over mum - I could use colour to link them, but it's not optimal in all cases.
A 'dotted line' option?
Otherwise, great little app. I'm glad someone thought of it!
