What's New in Version 2.0
Downloads and monthly updates are now faster
Redesign of the user interface has made the app more intuitive and faster to navigate around
Better presentation on the iPad and iPad mini screens
More taps required and slower than last version
I just wanted to add my 2 cents to the reviews, of which most seem to stress the slowness of the new app in general. I'm not sure why it always shows the login screen even though it automatically signs in, it's just wasted seconds. Funny thing is when I switch to airplane mode before launching the app, it skips the login screen, and so loads quicker. Also, I don't like that the search highlights as I type, there's no option to disable it. Last thing, though it wasn't there in the previous version, is why can't I default to Full view instead of the default Abbreviated view? Unnecessary taps all over ... Please sort that out. Cheers.
Nothing But Trouble
Do not download this new update.
This new version of MIMs has caused problems for my iPhone, and i cannot even download this update. It only shows some medications and doesn’t even show up everyday medications used frequently in the hospital.
When ringing team support members to assist in fixing my problem, they did not listen to the issue at whole, and told me that my wifi was the problem, even though i know it 100% wasn’t. After being told to re download by team support, it has been stuck at half way for over an hour.
They obviously need to quickly fix this issue before everyone else has downloaded it as it an everyday requirement to employees in the health system.
Slower and less easy to use now
This version is much slower than it used to be to load. It's also less usable.
For example, if search for drug x and find a result, you click on that for more details. The search bar at the top of the results screen appears to do nothing when on this screen. So, if you type in the name of drug y, there are no results, which makes you think that drug isn't listed in MIMS. However, you actually need to return back to the first screen to have the search bar work. Not intuitive and needs fixing.
