Ratings and Reviews
Could be better
Quite a poor implementation across mobile devices where the technical team have opted for a HTML long polling architecture. The charts don't even work on my iPhone and have a fraction of the sophistication you can find in other CFD mobile apps (which are native based, non HTML implementations streaming over sockets). This app is best suited for the odd glance at the market; for anything serious unfortunately you have to pull out the desktop version which is not always possible when you are on the move.
Rubbish
I can’t work out how a business with a 1.8 billion dollar MC can’t produce a decent app.
Extremely slow, without failure every 4th time or so I logon it fails to load. Graphs, well they may as well not even be on the app as they’re that useless. Just overall seems to be thrown together poorly. I’ve used plenty of other apps from a lot smaller and newer companies that outshine this 10 fold.
Horrible
Whoever is running IRESS should resign immediately. Not only have they got rid of Trader which was ok, they’ve forced everyone onto Viewpoint which at best is clunky. And the app - wow where do I start. I could pay someone $10k to build a much more functional app. Every time I login it defaults to ASX20 watchlist despite me saving my stocks of interest. Painful
