Love this app
Really enjoying this app. Great to see how I'm going with kj intake & good way to keep track of how much water you're drinking with balanced exercise
I have tried switching to this app from MyFitnessPal because it will count calories burned from walking and my Apple Watch unlike MFP. Unfortunately that is where the upsides of this app stop.
Lifesum is crazy, super, ridiculously buggy. Often when I try to add food to my diary it will be added to another day's entry instead (ie. I am trying to add today's breakfast to my diary but my food is being added to last Wednesday's breakfast, even though I have completed my entry for Wednesday) and will appear incorrectly under the recent meals list (ie. Friday's breakfast will be listed as Thursday's breakfast under recent). Sometimes the app will crash when scanning a product barcode, and the barcode database is FAR smaller than the MFP database - many common and popular foods are not recognised. Workout data is occasionally synced incorrectly (it will import the time spent exercising but not the calories burnt or the name/type of exercise) or randomly deleted from my diary in the middle of the day.
On top of this there are a number of fairly basic features that require a "gold" membership but are available for free with MFP. Even being able to select food from a list of recent meals requires a gold membership - really? I might not mind that so much if the app worked properly without all these bugs, but still it seems a bit much to ask.
The development team for this app *really* need to spend some solid time developing it properly. This is one of the worst and most unstable apps I have ever used, period.
