Open this Apple Design Award winner and start colouring. In moments, all your stresses just kinda wash away, right? That’s the nice side effect of this tremendous colouring app. It’s packed with creativity-enhancing tools—spray paint, customised colour palettes and a huge assortment of intuitive features. Our favourite pictures switch from colouring between the lines to going rogue.
Beautiful app
Very nice app with amazing illustrations from some of my favourite artists. Perfect for killing some down time. To all the people whining about why it isn’t free - software creators and illustrators work hard to put this app together and ought to be paid for their work. If you don’t expect illustrators to draw you things for free then don’t expect this app to give them to you free! They are very transparent with the payments in the App Store info and illustrators gotta eat too!

Great app but a few complaints and changes.
This is a very wonderful app and love everything about but a few complaints. Firstly, I really wish there wasn’t a premium because, it’s not that fair for people to pay and get all the pieces of art and get the pastel colours and people who don’t pay don’t get all the features and art pieces. Secondly, I wish that there was a blank canvas because for the people who don’t pay can’t even get at least 2 blank canvases. Lastly, I really wish there was a dark mood and a light mood. This is because when people colour in the light it might be to dark and when they try and make their screen brighter it’s still not bright enough.
Overall I think the app is wonderful and love the soothing sound effects of the brushes, the different art pieces to colour in and the different brushes. Bye!

Thank you for your feedbck! We do have a dark mode. Just enable that in your device and Lake will follow that!
We understand your concern about the premium subscription but imagine a world where everything is free and everyone still makes a decent living! Wouldn't that just make the most perfect world? But as we are sure you will understand, Lake is a business with 10+ people putting their love and knowledge into it every week of the year. By listening to your feedback and translating it into a better Lake experience, we are constantly striving to create a service that you can enjoy and benefit from fully. Our mission is also to be an active supporter of the artist community, helping them make a living as artists. We do so by sharing a part of your membership fee directly with them. However, if you do not see yourself as a part of our cause, you can of course use Lake for free as well. You can find free art in all sections on the Hey! tab or on the All art tab under the Free tag. On average, a free user gets about 10 drawings per week, maybe even a few more in the beginning, so be sure to come back daily to claim them. We are also adding free and paid content on a regular basis. Our data shows that this should be enough material for free users who want to color occasionally. We have no doubt that you can find the style that ignites that creative spark in you even with the free version of Lake!
