Just a little bit frustrating...

Although I love this app.. it is super easy to use and can be really convenient.. and I understand the concept of the app not working while you drive.. but it is SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATING when me as the driver wasn’t even using my phone as my passenger was and I had asked him to check my account balance on my account but he couldn’t because the app doesn’t work if your in a vehicle!!! I think it would be a lot more easier if there was a “I’m a passenger” option.. and get the passenger to answer questions or something along those lines, before using the app. That way if you are driving you still can’t use it because the app still needs your 100% attention!! It was the most infuriating experience ever just trying to work out if I should’ve taken the toll roads or not. Because sometimes I just don’t have a spare $100 to just “top up” my account....

Hi, thanks for your recent review about the Linkt app. I apologise for your experience and the delay in responding.
I understand that with the latest safety update you are experiencing issues when a passenger is using the app.
The motion detection should stop after 3-5 seconds. If this is not happening, please let me know.
You can also remove the option via Settings > CityLink app > Disable access to motion activity or Motion & Fitness.

Top up on the go? More like no...


Great app.... except. You can’t use it in the car (when you need to the most!!!). And yes, I understand this feature is to stop DRIVERS being on their phones, but what about PASSENGERS? There should be a button to press saying “I’m the passenger” . It’s so frustrating beyond belief. Especially when you’re in a hurry to be somewhere and leave the house before topping up. Please make this more user friendly for people on the go.

I use this app like everyday. And I can say this app is too slow, app opening is slow, connecting is slow, transferring your money process is slow, checking your balance is slow.
