LinktGO lets you pay for toll road travel with just your smartphone – no tag needed. There’s no start-up costs, no paperwork and no commitment. Just download the app and GO.

LinktGO works on all Australian toll roads. It uses your phone’s GPS to log your trips in real time. Review and pay trip by trip. You’re in complete control.

Download LinktGO and enjoy the freedom of toll roads without the commitment.

Why use LinktGO

- No tag, no start-up costs, no minimum balance
Download the app, enter your number plate and a credit card and start driving immediately.

- Avoid costly fees and fines
Pay for tolls only when you use them. Notifications remind you when payment is due. Forgot to pay straight away? No stress – LinktGO will automatically charge your saved card if trips become overdue, so you can keep you driving.

- Already travelled?
Pay for past toll trips by registering to LinktGO within 72 hours of travelling. And as long as you pay on time, you’re now covered for all future trips, too.

- Pay instantly
LinktGO displays your trip details in real time. Review and pay as you go directly from the app.

- You’re in control
Review your trips before paying. You can choose “Not my trip” if someone else is paying, e.g., you’re traveling in a friend’s car.

- You’re always covered
If you forget your phone or your battery’s flat and a trip isn’t captured by your GPS in real time, it’ll appear within a few days. Hang tight – this delay won’t trigger a toll notice.

- LinktGO is not designed to work with other toll payment accounts. For the best experience, make sure you don’t have another account.

- The cost of each LinktGO trip is made up of the toll charge plus a 95-cent service fee. For other, reduced-fee options please visit Linkt.com.au.

- LinktGO is not eligible for M5 cashback.

- LinktGO is not eligible for NSW Government Toll Relief.

We’d love to hear from you. If you have any feedback, questions or concerns, get in touch with the LinktGO support team using the Help Centre in the app or by visiting https://linktgohelp.linkt.com.au/s/contactsupport

So far a waste of time

As an infrequent visitor to Sydney I find the toll roads an absolute nightmare to keep track of and pay. You might use 2 or 3 toll roads, and each has to be paid individually, and you have to keep checking to see if the trip has appeared online. If you forget to pay one you get hit with an absolutely extortionate "admin" charge (ie. highway robbery - literally). So I thought this app would be the answer. I made sure I registered my car and my credit card. I opened the app before my trip and said a prayer. A message appeared at the top of my phone to say LinktGO was using my location, but after the trip, nothing, nix, nada. Anyway, the trips finally came through a couple of days later and payment was easy. The developers assure me the bug has been fixed - we'll see in a week or two!
As for the tolls - Oh My God! I've travelled a lot and I've driven in many other countries and I've never had to pay so much!!! Do your job NSW government, and stop robbing people! I'm glad I don't have to live in Sydney and drive every day.

Developer Response

Hi Dub, thanks for leaving your feedback – we appreciate hearing about your experience and we are working every day to get it right. We had a bug throughout Nov/Dec that affected some of our customers’ ability to receive GPS trips. This has since been resolved in the latest release. Please feel assured that as long as you correctly register your vehicle details and a credit card (which it sounds like you have) and are not blocked, LinktGO will always send you your trip once we receive the road-side information. This can take a few days.

I’m an infrequent user of the tolls in Melbourne, so when I heard about this app I thought it would be perfect for me. However, I received notification that I had 2 outstanding payments when I hadn’t used the toll roads. When I reviewed these on the app, I realised these had occurred in NSW (not by me, but by a driver of a car in NSW with the same number plate as me). I contacted the number provided on the Linkt website a number of times where I experienced being hung up on and being told I would be called back which never happened. Finally, the issue was amended and the trips were taken off my account. I was advised to remove my vehicle registration from the app and only adding it again when I was planning on travelling on the toll roads, which I did. Two days later I received a further two notifications of trips that again occurred in NSW. In theory the app seems like a great idea, however the process obviously isn’t fool proof.

Developer Response

Hi there, as you correctly point out, your number plate is being misread by the toll-point cameras. Because we rely on the camera data as confirmation of trips our customers take, sometimes our customers receive trips that were taken by someone else. If this ever happens, we encourage customers to raise a query via the Help Centre in the app - this will get a faster and more accurate response than calling the number on the Linkt site, as we have our own dedicated Customer Support Team. We can then investigate and reverse the charges as needed. We're raising this issue with the road operators to prevent this from happening in the future to you and to other toll road drivers.

Fantastic customer service!

At first I had nothing but issues with the app and I reviewed the app accordingly, within 30 hours I had a customer service representative named Barry call who resolved the issues. I was unaware I had misspelt a letter on my license plate so I had been getting trips refunded after I paid, Barry was fantastic about it and informed me I made them aware of a bug in the app which has now been fixed where it was sending me notices after I removed vehicles. Thankfully it has stopped and I cannot praise the customer service of this app highly enough.
Thank you for addressing the review in such a speedy manner and having everything resolved so efficiently!

Developer Response

Hi Matthew, we're sorry to hear about your experience. We’re always here to address questions and issues - just get in touch via the Help Centre in the app. We’ve found that some customers have mixed up a letter or number on their number plate when entering it in the app and end up inadvertently registering a vehicle that’s not theirs. We can only go by the number plate that’s entered by the customer, so the app will send trips for that vehicle. We also had a bug recently where some customers received GPS trips after deregistering. This has been resolved in the latest release. Please feel free to reach out via the Help Centre and we can investigate further.
