Description
A great way to email friends, colleagues, sports teams or church groups
Easily manage and send email to groups from the app, or share documents directly to groups from other apps, or forward email to a group.
This version of our popular app will create up to 100 groups, each with typically 100 contacts. (Limits depend on your email provider.)
Create groups in many ways: add from Contacts, import an address book group, enter addresses directly, or paste strings of names and addresses.
MailShot creates its own groups, which can do several things which regular address book groups cannot...
• Contacts can use different email addresses for each group. (Add work address to a work-related group, and home address to a sports group etc.)
• Contacts do not need to be present in your address book.
An optional plugin is available to check all the email domains for the addresses in a group, as an error there is a common cause of group email problems. It will also check any new addresses you add.
TIPS
• Protect privacy by placing addresses in the Bcc: line.
• To forward an email (with attachments), “Copy to clipboard" then paste to the address line in your Mail app.

An optional plugin is now available to verify the email domains for a group, a common reason that group emails can be rejected by your email provider. It will also test domains on any new addresses that you add.

Easy group email app
I have been using the pro version for a few years. Easy way to send out a bulk email to many recipients at one time. I add myself to the list of recipients so I know that the email has been delivered.

That's great to hear (although note that sending to yourself will not work for Gmail accounts, as they remove the sender automatically from any group of 2 or more addresses)

I have been wanting to have group emails on my i Pad for ages and then found this app. Down loaded it and had my two groups done in no time, very easy to use. Love it.

Works for group emails
I loved this app until Apple removed some features. I hate that it no longer updates a contact to my contact address book, as it used to. I didn't know it had changed so kept using that contact (thinking it was being updated) and unknowing have been using a non updated contact list for some time because of this. When sending an email, now from within Mailshot pro, instead of the Apple email client, it works ok, but once leaving the app and then coming back mid email, the keyboard would no longer come up to allow editing. So had to copy email, delete it and start again with paste. Just more messy for me now. Wish Apple would allow this app to work as it once did.
