Going back to doing the travel math myself

Seriously, Melbourne has one of the worst transport systems in the world. Is it that hard to get the schedule right?

Here are the following issues, please fix.

- scheduled arrival time 50% incorrect
- rarely suggested routes include the huge bus network (buses are mostly empty)
- doesn't show alternative routes which are faster
- don't think we haven't noticed sky bus take over as the only route to the airport when there is also the bus from Broadmeadows to airport. This option excludes budget and backpackers
- times displayed at tram stops and on the app show different times on some routes
- even after increasing walk time still doesn't show other alternative routes
E.g. Leaving 800 bourke st to flinders st. either train to southern cross or Collins st tram (what about the 70&75 tram 5 min walk which is usually a 5 min ride to flinders?!?)

Clearly you have an issue with real time data and this app is in dire need of an upgrade.

With tunnel works beginning on St Kilda Rd Melburnians are going to witness apocalyptic-like traffic conditions.

Until you resolve this I will work how my travel plans the old fashioned way and start riding my bike to work (which will soon not be an option either with crowded bike lanes).

Public Transport Victoria please fix this I beg you!

Save the preferences when saving a journey to favourites!!!!

Make this app more personalised. Save my preferences!!!!! It's so frustrating when I have favourites saved but I need to re-configure every preference setting again.

Show recently used stops at the top WHILE typing so I don't need to scroll to the very bottom of the stop list or type the full name of the station. I understand you can type the full name once and select it every time from recent searches but this is still extra effort for the end user.

Make specific train line timetables searchable. DO NOT offer me a PDF with 40 PAGES showing every single time of that train line. This feature is ridiculous.

Overall, the app is quite smooth, and is very useful, aside from these nuances.

Just give me the time

Why tell me the train arrives in 47 minutes and make me do the mental maths to see if it will get me there in time? Just tell what time is arrives!! Far more useful... At least give us the option to swap between minutes away and actual time. Minutes away is only useful if you are leaving now and you want to see how long you will have to wait. Not useful (actually a hindrance) if you are planning a trip in advance.
