Better than Evernote for serious business use
I used to use Evernote but got burnt one too many times when it failed to synchronise properly or lost shared data and edits in a document being worked on by multiple people.
OneNote shines for this and is my go to tool now. It gets better all the time and just works the way I need.
Easy to sync with my laptop
I use a windows 8.1 laptop. It's easy for me to write notes in my iPhone and review it later in my laptop. Since my laptop is quite heavy, I don't prefer to carry it around. I carry mobile phones almost everywhere. Basically, I don't have to worry about taking notes anymore.
Sorry Evernote, I'm (probably) switching
What with the monochrome fad all over OS X, anything with a bit of colour to help visual navigation is welcome. And I like the way OneNote arranges its notebooks, tabs and notes. Evernote is too flat, too hard to visually parse, and has too few quick options for styling text. OneNote has all that, syncs between all my devices and is basically fun to use. I like it!
