Ratings and Reviews
Mostly useful - but I’m switching to a better ap
I’m switching to the petrol spy as most of the suggestions I have listed here are already in use. (Eg reported prices stick for a day or two.)
Great to get an overview of prices, (website has unlimited specific price checks though).
It’s annoying and unreasonable that our reported prices don’t “stick” long- sometimes it seems they only last as long as the next refresh- which seems to happens every 1 minute.
I find the cheapest and the most expensive stations don’t report their prices (Melbourne), like Shell and United. That’s annoying.
I would like to be able to customise the colour price range at the bottom. It often has two useless colours at the top end. EG, prices went up to $1.49, that’s a max,
There’s no need (and a waste) to have a >$1.50 (red, category) I’m not buying even at $1.49! (Sometimes there’s two wasted categories at the top end- when we are all interested in the low end). If you guys can’t sort that out, I’d like to set my own key/categories, thanks.
Would also like to be able to use one photo for many fuel price updates, and be given last known prices for easier editing.
It’s a good app, if you only want to check the prices occasionally. Any more than that it’s a bit issue. The colours down the bottom of the grid don’t match the price ranges of the stations when you check them individually, using up your allowance on your phone. Thankfully our family network- texting each other when it goes up or comes down.
What a totally useless app for fuel. In our little town the servo has been there since the 1920’s and it doesn’t show up?
If you zoom on the map further I see businesses where houses are and from I have been told, have been for more than 30 years.
My question is, how old are these maps. I have uninstalled it now.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
