Based on real-life experiences of families torn apart by conflict or persecution. Every minute 8 people are forced to flee war, persecution or terror. If conflict threatened your family, what would you do?
Players face a series of tough decisions and chance events in these true-to-life quests to try to survive, reach safety, reunite with loved ones and rebuild their lives.
The app features three stories whose characters who are separated from their families while fleeing persecution or armed conflict.
“My Life as a Refugee” was developed by UNHCR, the UN refugee agency. Each story is based on real-life experiences of families torn apart by war or persecution.

Important for the priveledged
This app is very helpful in bringing across the stories of the refugees of our generation. I think as people we thrive on listening to stories and the power of sharing these three refugee stories in a simulation helps those who have not experienced that situation to open their hearts and minds to changing their attitude in how they treat foreigners. A great tool for learning and transforming attitude.
Sad but very realistic
It's a very good app and puts you into live of kids and Adults who risk there lives and run away from there family and home to keep them safe. I hope there is an update soon where you can be a different character (maybe some younger kids) and learn about there story.
Nice app to help explain refugee plight
Simple mechanic to this but shows the choices made and loss of control experienced as the journey goes on. Will be showing to my kids when the opportunity arises.
