Are you kidding me!

The girl with the apostrophe

Have been trying to set up recharge for the past 28 days- what a nightmare! I actually couldn’t complete the process as on my iPhone 6 I was not able to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.
Once I had figured out to circumvent this page my frustration grew. Apparently Optus have an issue with any names with an apostrophe - you see I have one in my surname, however it does not appear on my credit card ( perhaps it’s the banks that don’t belief in the apostrophe) so Optus won’t process my payment via the credit card as it is different from my Optus account. So it appears another trip to the Optus shop - again!

Great app, very handy!


I've never had any issues with this app, and I've been using it for years, through its several iterations, and each update seems to make it better.

I love that I can see detailed breakdowns of my data usage (it shows exactly which apps or sites have been draining your data!) and the optus movie rewards have given me countless half price tickets for myself and my friends. Brilliant.

What in the heavens name kind of company and customer service are you running?
I just had a guy from Sydney put through to my silent home number. Apparently he was trying to upgrade his Mobile phone plan and was told he’d be put through to someone! Yeah me. I’m an Optus customer who gets calls like this frequently and has a terrible near useless internet service and was sold a package for fetch tv when it’s not even compatible with the amount of download speed we receive. Seriously a breach of privacy has occurred here. Not to mention the gobsmacked customer who was put through to a RESIDENTIAL PRIVATE NUMBER and I have the voicemail to prove it!
