This app requires a compatible security system and an interactive MyAlarm service plan to function.

The MyAlarm iFob Control app provides real time control and feedback of compatible, IP enabled alarm systems.
Users can arm and disarm areas, control outputs and doors, view system troubles and alarm system history as required.
Multiple sites are supported allowing easy interface to your home, office and holiday house etc if required, and all events performed via the app are recorded in the system history log for easy auditing. All user restrictions configured on the panel are enforced by the app meaning app users can only control areas and doors they have access to on the system. Selected MyAlarm service plans include the ability to report alarm events via push notification and email.
Each site can be configured for 10 iFob Control users and various app functions can be restricted by the system owner if required giving them total control.

The iFob app is currently only compatible with the panels listed below.
Most older version panels can be upgraded to meet the firmware requirements by your alarm installer.
If you do not have one of the systems listed then do not download the app.

For the iFob Control app to function your system needs to meet the compatibility requirements listed above.
Your system needs to have been installed and configured for MyAlarm services and you will need to sign up for a MyAlarm service plan with your installer.

Works but could be better
The App is functional and performs as intended. However, the UI is dated and could use some work. The zone list should display all zones in a scrollable list on just one page rather than having to change page views to see more zones. Siri shortcut integration would also be great for checking area status, output control and arming/disarming.
Be warned, this system relies on you getting service from the installer, and can you imaging them returning your call 12 months later. I can get a return call and the app company don’t care. Find another installer is the answer from them, but to do that they need to come on site and re Programer it under there account, and yes they charge for that. You need to have control and not be stuck using an installer who may not be around tomorrow. Very poor help from the developer.

In your case it appears the relationship with your installer has broken down and therefore we would recommended that you contact another installer to support your future security needs.

Poor connection issues
We have had tech guys out twice as one day you can connect via the handover be and turn alarm on and off, the next day it won’t connect. I just purposely set alarm off and didn’t even get a notification. Yesterday it tells me panel is unavailable. Today it allowed me to turn alarm on when left home but then when I got home i couldn’t open app - panel unavailable. Try something different is my advice.

The app and reporting services have difficulty working with an alarm panel that does not have a reliable internet connection.
