New Match Listing Layout 👎

El Beejo

Sorry guys, love the app but disagree that the new match listing layout is easier to read. It doesn't fit all the matches on the screen (maybe cause my phone is old) and the team names don't appear, just the first letter and an X. Have to look at the logos to work out who is playing.
For the bowling stats in scorecards and team season statistics, have the wickets column before the runs column, seems illogical to have the runs before the wickets for bowlers.
(Just a heads up that I apparently received a reply to my last review, but I wasn't actually able to access and read it)

Developer Response

Hi thanks for your feedback. We agree that the abbreviation for the Team names are too hard to read. We have just fixed up a few more things on the page, feel free to let us know what you think!

Performance improvements needed

The new layout isn’t too bad, but the performance of the app is fairly poor. Frequently the data in the app fails to load when using either mobile data or WiFi. Hopefully the performance issues will be fixed.

Update: 27th October 2017, performance issues seemed to to be fixed. The performance of the app is better from when the review was originally written.

Developer Response

We are sorry you had experienced issues with the App. We had some performance issues which have now been fixed, and we hope you noticed a huge improvement over this past weekend. Please contact the MyCricket Support team with any specific feedback, mycricketsupport@cricket.com.au

Match type gone?

Last year you could see what sort of match was being played, 2 day, 30 over, etc. This seems to have been taken out now. The only way to tell that this week’s game was 30 overs was to look at the starting time. And I can’t look back and see how we performed in the last 30 over game, as there is nothing in the app to show the match type anymore.
