Better than it was when I first used it in 2016 but still has room for improvement

The apps getting better, with real time integration (still with a bit if a delay but atleast they have it now, before it was literally just good for checking buses and stops). Those people complaining about the unreliable setting an alarm for a certain stop cos of the slight delay I think are just to preoccupied on their phones or too lazy to pay attention to stops (which I know slightly defeats the purpose of having an alarm setting there in the first place if its delayed and you miss your stop, but at the same time you’d be able to see the stops if you take 10sec to look up from your phones. COMPARED to the past 2016 app this is a huge improvement). Only thing I’d love for them to add in is GoCard integration that allows people to manage their card and top up directly from the app without being redirected to the translink website.

Update has lost important functionality for me

I wrote the below 4 months ago and U haven’t seen any changes with the updates since. I need to be able to see past the next 3 buses to plan leaving from home. Clicking on the service no. just takes you to the stop timetable and not the service timetable - not helpful! I don’t use the app nearly as much any more. I just take my chances because the app doesn’t give me the info I need or that it used to. Definitely a retrograde step. Aren’t you listening to the feedback?

Really don’t like the new update. I can only see the next 3 buses rather than all from my stop as I scroll. As the buses often leave in quick succession before a big gap I often can’t see when I need to leave home to get the next bus within a particular window. And the stop timetable just takes you to the translink website. I can see the value in the new grouping of the services at each stop but please add the old stop timetable format so you can toggle between the two if you need to see more than the next three services.

New update bit tricky

The new update is a bit hard to navigate whereas the old version was so easy to use. Yes the new design looks much better and feels like we’re in the 21st century now but it took me like half an hour to try and figure the whole app out. Some tips? Maybe I was the only one with this problem but the pop up screen that says “Edit Travel Time” this is what took me a while to figure out, initially I didn’t see “edit travel time” on the top I just looked at the time and date, and it looked like you couldn’t edit anything, my advice even though it may be minor, maybe add a drop down arrow or something on the side of the date and time heading to indicate that you can actually change the time and date, cause people like me don’t know, I didn’t realise you had to tap on the time and date to change it.
