Needs improvement

WHY are transactions and opal taps not real time?? If my bank can show the transaction on my end, then so can you. In particular, Opal tap-on/offs are a prepaid service, so there's really no excuse for you to not show in-progress trips as they occur... makes having an on the go app pointless since I have to wait 2 business days to really even check anything. Other major issue I have is cumbersome security. It is not necessary to force end sessions so frequently running on secure devices: keep Opal logged IN. However, on that note, you should also implement safari extensions to the text input so that password managers can be used (1Password, LastPass etc) and/or use TouchID for easier login.

Late buses, trains

You should add in if a bus is late. If the expected bus in 4 mins does not arrive and you refresh, the next arriving bus time, is for example in 17 mins. Only annoying thing about the app. Other than the delay if you top up online it takes 24 hours to credit. Therefore you can't board given the top up is not realtime. Come to an agreement with the schemes on that please.

App doesn't work on phone data

Well for a phone app it seems to miss the point. Tried logging in 4 times and received "Data error" so I connected to wifi and logged straight in. How does that help me when I'm at a train station or bus stop?

App is simple to use when you get in though.
