This application was created by an Australian app developer with a passion for meteorology and making great useful and fun apps. The original Oz Weather made it to #1 in the Australian app store - and this new version is way more advanced!

Visually presented, easy to use, with reliable info
This app is great !! The ability to add cities and locations so you can tell what the weather is/going to be at your location, your destination, or what weather your friends and family elsewhere are/will be experiencing within the next 7 days is superb. My personal favourite is to be able to tell the movement and intensity of incoming storms via radar tracking - visually brilliant. Tracking QLD's cyclone Debbie recently was very informative. I also value the likelihood of rain percentage, very handy for determining if I can leave the top off on my convertible. All in all a fantastic app - I use it regularly, almost daily.
This app has it all!
I had the old version of this app for many years and always loved it. When the app was replaced with a new app (this one) I decided to see what other apps had to offer. I ended up with literally 4 weather apps to try to get all the features I liked and I still had to google stuff. This app has all the normal info plus info that most, if not all others, do not. I.e. Forecast rainfall maps, synoptic forecast and history maps, previous days recorded temp, wind, rainfall tables and charts, and more. Not even the BOM app has this stuff. Thanks to the producers and keep up the good work!
I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could...
...my only minor gripes being the visual styling / art direction could be better and the radar selection screen labels occasionally all disappear. Apart from that, love it as much and more than the previous Oz Weather which I used for years.
One more suggestion...maybe a graph for sun rise and setting times over time would be good. Not strictly weather-related I know, but could be a useful little enhancement as sunrise/sunset data is being used anyway. Cheers!
