Parkmobile provides a new and better way to pay for parking using your mobile phone. The Parkmobile iPhone app allows you to instantly start and stop parking transactions so you only pay for the time you've parked
Starting and stopping your parking transactions takes just a few seconds. If you're driving a different car to the one you registered, no problem, you can quickly and easily change the licence number and activate your parking session. You can also choose to receive a range of sms text messages, such as a reminder 15 minutes prior to your parking session expiring.
We provide secure online access to all your parking data so you'll always have access to your parking history. You can change your account settings, print reports and export your transactions to Excel for expense reimbursements.
You'll soon find Parkmobile in parking lots, on city streets, at airports, stadiums and just about anywhere else you park. Registering with us is free and you're under no obligation to use Parkmobile. It takes less than 2 minutes to join.
We take the stress out of parking. No more searching for coins, no more worries about dysfunctional parking meters. Whether you use our mobile app or call our automated voice prompt service, Parkmobile is here to make your day just that little bit easier.

What's New in Version 4.8
We've added a cost breakdown so you can see exactly what makes up the cost you are being charged for your parking.
We've fixed the map annotation box on smaller screen iPhones so it doesn't appear in the middle of the map anymore.
Works great around ACT Civic. I've used this app for over a year, including its predecessor. It's failed to launch only twice when comms were down. I've never needed to get a docket from the machine to put on my dashboard. I did get booked once when I activated the wrong one of two cars. I intended to pay, did actually pay, but for the wrong car. I grovelled to the local council and sent in my receipt history, but they felt they needed the money more than me. Very convenient if you're distracted and forget to pay, I can do it from the office without having to walk back.
Does what it's supposed to
It's quite easy to use. My only frustration is once I'm ready to stop my session the dialog box pops up in the upper left corner and is 70% cut off, I don't know what is said and can't dispute it if ever I needed to. I'd prefer the box to pop up clearly in the middle.
*When* it works it's great
Unfortunately that's only about 30% of the time.
For 70% of the time the app won't load, is really slow to load (5 minutes on 4G!), won't renew parking when I'm too far away to run back to the parking meter, won't accept password, or completely locks me out. This makes using the app a frustrating experience. As an app recommended by the ACT Government it's not good enough and needs urgent revision.
