Use your iPhone as a step counter. Pedometer++ lets you easily keep track of your daily and weekly step counts, without any impact on your battery life. You can view your progress each day from either the iPhone app, Today View widget or Apple Watch app.
App Store App of the Day
iMore.com's iOS Health & Fitness App of the Year.
** Requires an iPhone 5s or newer **
For best results make sure that you keep your iPhone on you as you move throughout the day, ideally in a trouser pocket close to your hips.
Pedometer++ integrates with the Health app in order to collect and display data collected by your Apple Watch. It can display your step count, walking distance, active calories and heart rate data.
This update includes the May challenge badge. This is the last of these small updates before a big update I have planned for mid-May. I can't wait to show it to you.

A Massive Let Down
I downloaded this app yesterday and expected this app to match the description/story but it doesn’t, it’s quite disappointing. Although the app only looked basic and simple without much to do, I expected to get what was advertised. There’s no wheelchair option - which would help during the times when I’m using mine. While it counts steps, it cannot recognise the difference between floors - it hasn’t been able to tell from my house, and there’s quite a lot of split level houses that many consider to be floors/levels. I’m guessing that it only works on multilevelled buildings. I’ve given a 2 star rating because it apparently counted my steps but even then, I’m not sure how accurate it truly is. I downloaded this app because of it being featured and advertising features that many other apps don’t have. But without it, it’s just as bias as those apps - such as: taking advantage of the disabled with lies, not providing services for the disabled and so much more. The reason why I don’t use these types of apps or services is because they don’t think of people with disabilities and/or are willing to lie to them, to get them to use it. Shame on you Pedometer(++ appears for the title in the App Store only).
Hi there, I’m a 61 year old woman and I absolutely love this pedometer, it’s fun, easy to read, no silly gadgets, just plain straight out information, just what’s not in many others. Thank you, I have told all my friends about it, and they are gonna give it a go. It’s also very motivating. Thanks again
Hi there, I’m still using the pedometer, and I’m having great results, I suffer with fibromyalgia and having to keep my mind off pain, this a great motivator, cause it tells me how far I’m walking, so I can go different ways each day and I know when to head home, it’s great. Thank you
Hi there I’m now 62 and still using the pedometer, I love it, it gives me the insentive I need to get me out and about, instead of sitting at home, good job guys
Love This App
Could not recommend this app more. I’ve found it to be incredibly accurate and super convenient. I never have to think about putting a watch on or clipping on a little pedometer, I’ve always naturally already got my phone with me and this works in the background even without the app being opened.
Very easy to understand app, everything is clearly labelled and even colour coded. It has easily customised features to align with your own personal goal rather than a standardised one. What I love most is the little celebratory animation once you open it on a day that you’ve reached your step count.
