Continually 'loses' pairing with my Apple TV!

This app works perfectly...if it retains the pairing to your device. For some unknown, hugely annoying reason, though, we intermittently lose the pairing and the Apple TV icon disappears. When your original Apple TV remote has a flat battery and there is no clear fix for this issue, this is HUGELY frustrating and renders the device completely useless.
This issue is not at all related to any itunes or ios updates. No itunes fiddling works, nor does restarting the app or the phone. Using the original remote again does, but really, this shouldn't happen. Strangely, the pairing eventually returns and the app appears again; there is no rhyme or reason to it. Help! Please, please fix this glitch, Apple - I'm not the only customer with this issue.

About time, but still lacking

So the Remote app now functions with my new Apple TV, about time. This should have been here pre-launch (of the 4th-gen Apple TV).

Just one question: where is Siri!? iOS devices have microphones, and all current iPhone and iPad devices support Siri. So why can't I access Siri on my new Apple TV with the Remote app!?

Come on, Apple. These issues should have been fixed BEFORE LAUNCH. It's not like you to release a half-baked product.

Outdated

Apple have completely neglected this app, it is slow, full of bugs and does not run smoothly like most of apples other apps, opening this is honestly so disappointing, it occasionally works right but other times it's just a waste of space, I recommend using this as it's the only one that you can use as a remote but apple really needs to get it together and fix it up
