EPA Victoria's public litter reporting system is unique to Australia and allows members of the public to report those who they see littering from or near motor vehicles.
Rubbish thrown from a motor vehicle is a major source of litter and costs millions of dollars each year to remove.
Help EPA by reporting this type of pollution, which includes cigarette butts, food packaging and beverage containers.
Simply record the registration, make, colour, model, location, date and time, plus a description of the litter and submit within 7 days of seeing the offence.

I want to like this app
I've been a long time litter reporter and was pleased when finally this app came out. However, recent versions have been terrible. The map location feature has not worked for me EVER. Given I am not using the app when driving and that it's not practical to stop and record the location of the offence immediately it needs to be entered later. The search function is not very smart and doesn't make suggestions. The pin locator has never worked for me. Even when the pin is right on the road it can't detect the location.
This failure means the app is unusable because this is the only way you can enter the location. I am missing something? This part of the app is important and should work easily and faultlessly.
So I want to like it because if it worked I would use it regularly. As it doesn't, there are many offences going unreported.
Easy to use, welcomed addition for the fight against litter bugs.
Worked quite well for a first time user. Map function could do with a little polish but over all an easy intuitive way to report litter bugs.
Location services won't work! Surely it's a simple fix, hundreds if offenders every day will be getting away with littering while the EPA dithers on a simple app upgrade! WOW! Even the ' fixed' app map location doesn't work. Can the EPA get any more incompetent?
