Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
This application launches a Practice Driver Knowledge Test (DKT) on the NSW Roads & Traffic Authority’s (RTA) website.
The DKT is the first stage in the NSW Graduated Licensing Scheme and is the test you must pass to get your learner driver licence. The Practice DKT lets you become familiar with the real test and lets experienced drivers test their knowledge of road rules.
The Practice DKT looks and operates like the real test. It consists of 45 questions drawn from the DKT question bank and is available in English and nine (9) other languages.
The Practice Driver Knowledge test will need to be view in horizontal mode.
Internet connection is required and normal data charges will apply (check with your service provider for details).
I downloaded this app and used it for about 4 days, I had basic knowledge this app gave me a better understanding. I went for my test today at the RTA and got 100% it's pretty much the same test!
I don't have a big issue with the structure of the app although when you do get a call it does reset but that's already been mentioned. This app is worth the time and it's free! May as well take advance of something that is free from the RTA because I know from here on in the only thing they are going to want from me is money! Lol and I drove a car today (manual) very exciting day! :) good luck!
The app is OK, it has all the questions you need in the test (just sat test and passed) but the user interface is terrible!!! This app needs a lot of work; the text is to small, it's slow and jumpy, every thing looks… cheap and under down and not to mention its just a link to the website.
The next update (if there is one) should defiantly have a new layout and be usable offline.
I would recommend that the next update gets a few ideas called "learner test"
But this is defiantly a below average app!
User interface is horrible - I think it just directs you to the website. If you switch to another app part-way through the test, you have to start over again once you switch back. The text is too small and I have to zoom in to see it properly. Aesthetically, the app is just ugly. It's hard to learn when the design is poor. RTA - by updating this app you have a chance to make road rules more interesting, and in turn help learners take the rules more seriously, and help them remember what they can and can't do.
