Sabbath School 4
By General Conference Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Sabbath School 4 is the introduction of a new fresh user experience. This is also sets the foundation in which we will build more features to enrich your Bible study experience.
This is the official app of the Sabbath School Bible Study Guides.
Sabbath School 4 is a Bible study app for the student, teacher, and small group leader. The studies are built on Scripture and encourage the reader to discover a better understanding of the Bible. This app is produced by the Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Department of the General Conference. If you have questions or issues with this app, please contact the Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Department in the support link or at http://www.sabbathschoolpersonalministries.org/iphone. Feedback is what enables us to make this app relevant to you. (By the way, rating us for features we haven’t thought about yet doesn’t quite help the process.)
Beginner is a two year, monthly, curriculum for ages 0 to 2. Beginner lessons are intended for children under age two. Let's face it--these little ones don't sit still long enough! (Parents of a child who is more advanced may choose to use the Kindergarten study guide if the child is ready for more information.)
Kindergarten is a two year, weekly, curriculum for ages 3-5. There is one lesson per week with illustrative activities for each day.
Primary is a four year, weekly, curriculum for ages 6-10. There is one lesson per week with illustrative activities for each day.
Junior PowerPoints is a four year, daily, curriculum for ages 10-13.
Real Time Faith is a two year, daily, curriculum for ages 13-14.
Cornerstone Connections is a four year, daily, curriculum for teens.
Collegiate Quarterly (CQ) is a daily study based on a quarterly theme. A different young adult writes each day. The writers are from an international pool and bring a varied perspective on the week’s study.
The Adult Bible Study Guide (ABSG) and CQ are quarterly studies that explore the Bible and Biblical teaching. Where one author per quarter writes the Adult Bible Study Guide, about 91 international authors write CQ, one each per day, per quarter. Both follow the same curriculum for the given quarter.
What's New in Version 1.6
- Fixed some bugs.
2017 update. The next quarters lessons are still not uploaded soon enough for our time zone. Americans - lift your game!
Am enjoying the new app, being able to type in the answer to questions as well as write notes wherever I wish. Also like that we have a choice of Bible versions.
Would like a second colour option of highlighter, though.
PS Am disappointed that the app doesn't update to new quarter readily/on time; nor are the next weeks lessons added in time for our time zone :(
Good app but strange audio bug
I enjoy using this app, but about six months ago the audio stopped working on my iPad - even deleting and reinstalling can't fix it. Today same problem on my iPhone. Yesterday I was listening to hope Sabbath school, today I can't. Even after phone reboot, delete and reinstall app. Now I can't listen to audio on iPad or iphone. Video still works but no sound. HELP PLEASE!
If it didn't crash and loaded content consistently the way it is intended, it is a very good app. Before deleting the app the first time to create more space, the buggy app eventually became more consistent in working. However, since downloading it twice more, I haven't been able to download the teacher guides for juniors, the mission videos and the mission stories. The student lesson and activities do consistently work though. Unreliable for SS teachers at present.
