Epic app

I love Seabreeze. I check it all the time before going sailing or surfing, and it’s especially cool when watching a southerly buster marching up the east coast from the Southern Ocean. My two suggestions for improvement would be:

1) more detailed tide data for specific locations
2) live ocean swell data from offshore buoys

Of course both of these are available separately online, but I don’t see any reason why Seabreeze couldn’t be a one-stop-app! It would save me checking the tide data on the Bureau of Meteorology website, and the live ocean swell data from ocean buoys on the Manly Hydraulics Laboratory website. And I’m sure the crew at Seabreeze could come up with a creative way to display this information, as they’ve done an amazing job with the live wind data.

Absolute must

Been using this website/app since before there were iPhones as my go to for planning boating/surfing. Now that it lives on my phone I have it everywhere I go and whilst on the water, check it constantly. Has saved me numerous times by giving me a heads up on a wind change such that I can move anchorage’s accordingly. Next step, watch app for the detailed complication.

My Sailing Companion

I’ve been using Seabreeze for years to figure out when is a good time to go for a sail and it hasn’t let me down. I also like knowing how big the swell will be at the harbour entrance and what the tides are doing- it’s all there in one app! I do wish though that the times of moonrise and moon set were included as I often go for a walk to watch the moonrise but I have to use another app for it.
