SiteSucker is a Macintosh application that automatically downloads Web sites from the Internet. It does this by asynchronously copying the site's webpages, images, PDFs, style sheets, and other files to your local hard drive, duplicating the site's directory structure.
SiteSucker can be used to make local copies of Web sites. By default, SiteSucker "localizes" the files it downloads, allowing you to browse a site offline, but it can also download sites without modification.
Fixed a bug the could cause SiteSucker to crash when analyzing certain webpages.
Added support for Dark Mode in macOS 10.14.
Ratings and Reviews
Great - does what I need
I needed a way to download the source of the webpages on my site, and SiteSucker did it. Easy to use, well documented. It works. Many thanks
Quite satisfactory. Could be Excellent.
This app does what it says, though requires a fair bit of guesswork to get it working well.
At the core is an excellent app that outperforms most of these types of apps. Where it is let down is the interface. The app is not intuitive to use, and lacks clear directions. The icon is hideous, but that’s probably not such a big problem to most users.
All in all it’s a good app that has the potential to be a great app with a bit of clever rebuilding.
Simple, simple, simple
Easy to use app. I wanted to backup a website I created for family, and found this tool to do it. It took me less than a minute to download it, figure out how to configure it, then run it.
I disagree with other reviews complaining about the speed - I had no issues with it, even though I had a large number of photos to download.
Well worth the 5 star rating.
