Learning so much!
This is a great app for a learner of Chinese who already has some conversation skills but wants to add reading and writing to that. It is very intuitive, and moves you through the vocabulary while occasionally revisiting characters you have learnt to make sure you remember them (which happens often). It lacks context and how to use the words, so you need to use Skritter in conjunction with learning Chinese conversation using a different platform. The thing I like the most is that I can spend an hour on Skritter or use it for 2 minutes when standing in a queue.
Doesn't get much better than this
As a way to expand your Mandarin vocabulary and learn to read and write Mandarin, this is the best app and is totally worth the subscription fee. Obviously this wouldn't be the only resource one would use to learn Chinese (it won't help much with sentence structure or conversational skills), but I find it particularly useful in learning to read the language. Use it everyday, and you'll be surprised by how much you learn!
Must get this app if learning Chinese
This is a must-get-app if you're learning Chinese. The app has matured a lot over past 4 years.
My only struggle is trying to see the tiny digits on the graphs and hopefully one day we can zoom into the graphs.
Maybe a few other motivational features can be implemented to encourage learners to keep pushing themselves
