What's New in Version 4.7.2
Fixing a critical bug fixing a stability issue for some users.
I would like to be able to wake up, stop the alarm and continue the sleep cycle on days when I want to sleep in or am still tired upon waking.
How does the "intelligent" mode for sleep aid work? More information might be helpful. It seems to go quiet too soon fore so I changed to an absolute 30 minutes. But now I notice that I wake as soon as the sound stops! I would like the sound to continue until the app judges that I am asleep and start again if I wake up.
But I don't think the app is accurate at judging when I'm awake and when in light sleep. So many times I know I've been tossing and turning for a couple of hours but the app will show that time as light sleep. Maybe that's why intelligent mode of sleep aid went silent much too soon.
And I would like to know how the app calculates the number of steps taken, and also how it analyses sleep to arrive at sleep quality. Information, please!
Another thing I would like to see is information on what the ideal is: how much sleep, what quality to aim for, what amount of deep sleep, etc. Is there an ideal graph shape or a bad shape to watch out for?
I'm mystified by some of the extra graphs and their usefulness but no doubt all will be revealed in time.
But having said all that, I love the app and despite my sleep quality being not great, I still wake feeling good because the app wakes me at the right point in the cycle. It's fabulous. And just keeping these records is very valuable.
Have Used Sleep Cycle every night for 4 years
I really like and use this app every night - it is part of my daily routine. Great as an alarm clock, soothing wake tones. Shortened the wake window to 20 mins to avoid the occasional 30 min wake too early mornings. Really use the stats tracking over time to help adjust my daily habits to get better sleep averages for health reasons. Helps me understand what my body is doing and what I can do to improve things. Been able to increase my average of sleep quality from around 70% to around 80% over the past 12 months. Like the mix if short term stats, mid and long term stats.
Request - allow me to continue a nights sleep tracking after I turn off the alarm, for those cases when I decide to stay in bed longer.

I do love this app. I love tracking my sleep and I am waking up a lot less cranky then I used to because it wakes me at the right time. It's also good to know how various factors effect your sleep with the sleep notes.
I am not sure how accurate it is though on judging when I am asleep. Sometimes the sleep aid will go off before I have fallen asleep, but the next morning when I look at my data, it knows that I didn't fall asleep until after the sleep aid went off. Other times I have gotten out of bed for whatever reason in the night, but it says I slept through.
I wish it didn't tell me how much time I've spent in bed overall, and I would like to know how it calculates how many "steps" I have taken.
Apart from that, it is a very handy app to have and I use it every night!
