No councils accept this!
I recently reported a car parked in a disabled parking spot without a permit. I used this app to report it to the current council that I was in at the time and got an email back saying that they don't accept photos from the public using this app and to ring the council directly! This was from the Frankston City Council and they don't allow it and my local council is the same which is the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council. It's the same with other councils around Australia too! I'm a strong supporter of people who have disabled parking permits but can't stand people who park in them without a legal disabled parking permit on display which is against the law! And councils don't care about this app and the public reporting vehicles parked in a disabled parking spot without any permit on display! So this app is useless for this reason! Which is the main reason I downloaded this app in the first place!
So easy to use and it works! Not sure what the issue was for others, this app IS supported by Frankston City Council. Saw a broken drain cover in my area. Took a photo, typed a quick message and email was sent to the council. The problem was solved in three days - the broken drain cover was replaced.
No anonymity with this app
So you take a photo and write a description of the issue. Then it asks if you'd like to provide your details. You may as well put your details in because all the app does is then generate an email to the relevant council from YOUR email address anyway.
I don't understand why they'd ask if you want to provide your info when you're doing it by default anyway. Honestly it's not much quicker than just emailing your local council yourself.
