Sound Proof Puppy Training
By Amy Smith
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Have you ever wondered why some dogs are so calm around noisy environments, while others look nervous and stressed? There are many loud, new and unusual sounds a dog must get used to as a domestic pet or working dog.
Training our dogs to be comfortable with sound is essential to having a calm, well-adjusted dog. As new puppy owners you can start this training from 8 weeks of age. As a breeder you can start this from 3 weeks of age.
After teaching puppy class for several years I needed a way to assist clients to get their puppies comfortable around environmental noise. So I wrote this App.
What's New in Version 1.11
3 New Sounds: Sirens, Smoke Alarms and internal plane travel. The Grooming sounds have also been split to clipper sounds and dryer sounds. The vibration function is only on the clipper sounds so users can still simulate clippers on their puppies and dogs.
There is also a link to my training blogs. Articles will be available on Preparing the family dog for the arrival of a new baby (human). Preparing your puppy or dog for grooming and many more.
Great App - Just what all dog owners need!
This app is perfect for conditioning dogs to different sounds. As a kid we had a family dog who was terrified of many sounds and would tear up our house. I was determined not to let my current dogs be scared like that. This app made it so easy to get them used to different sounds. At times tho it has worked a little too well... during a thunder storm the other day my dogs were on the hunt for treats because that is what they now associate storms with!!! :)

As a professional trainer I use and recommend Sound Proof Puppy Training on a regular basis.
The app is simple to use and the developers are regularly making updates based on user experience and feedback.
I highly recommend this app for trainers and owners alike.
This app is excellent to start very young puppies on to get them used to strange noises that can become frightening. I just use an wireless speaker so I can make it really loud eventually. Great for breeders. The update has even more helpful information for my puppy buyers! Good job. Thanks Amy
