Often glitchy and buggy - getting worse
The ‘check if I am still watching’ feature works but not much else. Every other episode it spins and does not load, then eventually when I get sick of waiting (sometimes I’ve left it spinning 30 plus minutes just to see what will happen) it gives an error about an expired session and needing to log back in. Shutting app down and restarting fixes it - usually though sometimes need to do this a couple of times. Also problem of it frequently saying I am not online, when I am and have no trouble with Netflix or using my browser etc, it is just STAN that seems incapable of detecting that there is a connection. All this since the latest update...which as best I can tell offered no improvements. App still doesn’t seem to be capable of letting you stop a show part way though and then resuming in the same place - a real nuisance and something Netflix gets right, I don’t bother watching movies because it is too annoying to find after pausing that I cannot restart without having to manually skip back to where I think I was. If it doesn’t get fixed in the next week or two I will be cancelling my subscription, no point having a streaming service that can’t work more than 40 mins without intervention. Sound has also started cutting out again with an annoying frequency. Very disappointing.

Hi there! When you get a chance, please update the Stan app on your iOS device. You should no longer experience issues with the "Are you still there" feature.
Some things could make this a whole lot better
The content on this service is really good, it makes living in Australia a bit better so we can watch some of those shows that Netflix doesn’t want to supply for us.
However, reading other people’s reviews I have to agree with them - the sound cutting out is easily the most annoying thing aBout this app. At first I just thought it was something wrong with my phone, or the program I was watching but after using different headphones and different devices, it happens with everything. I’ve also found subtitles going out of sync and not fixing themselves, and only as I was rewinding the episodes to try and get it back in order I realised the subtitles were out was because it skipped a whole section of the show!
I would also like to see a rating service for the shows and reviews etc to help with making decisions on what to watch
Good content but several annoying issues
The only positive thing I can really say about Stan is that it has decent content.
The Stan experience on mobile and tablet devices is disappointing to say the least.
Every 3 minutes I get a my stream paused and a pop-up saying ‘your connection has switched from wifi to 4G’. The connection has never actually switched, maybe a momentary weak signal at best. Perhaps change the warning so it only occurs after a significant amount of time off wifi connection? Gets to the point where I want to throw my phone at the wall when I have 5 pop ups in under a minute interruption my stream.
On another note, when I go back to the main menu or suspend the app while watching a series, when I go back in it will return to the start of the previous episode in the season instead of resuming where I left off. (For example when half way through watching episode 5 I will go back to my home menu then go back in and it will start from the beginning of episode 4.
