Review of stingray.

During these difficult and sometimes depressing times I have the classical music programme on all day and relaxing or nature music on all night. My home feels lived in and we are much more relaxed and able to manage whatever comes our way.. also beautiful to enjoy whilst driving....as an elderly couple the constant changes to our lifestyle due to the viral pandemic we find our selves better able to think more clearly. Sincere thanks for the fantastic programs and simple connections with Foxtel.. love it !!!

The good:
I rather like the Chill Out and Cafe channels on AIR and now I can listen to them in the car which is pretty cool.

The not so good:
There is one persistent issue, you cannot launch the Stingray app via CarPlay. While it is a CarPlay compatible app, and it does have a presence on the CarPlay home screen, it simply will not launch from there. It attempts to launch and takes about 30 seconds to a minute to return an error message on the CarPlay display. You must launch the app on the iPhone itself. Once the app has initialised you can navigate the channels via the CarPlay display, but iPhone must remain unlocked with Stingray in the foreground in order to do so. Seems somewhat arbitrary.

Now relaxing 👏

The tracks on the 'Relax' channel has improved out of sight! Before there would be surprising loud, full-on music come on randomly, yet often. I am a therapist & play the Stingray Relax channel while I'm seeing clients. The jolt of loud was not good! Now it is always relaxing. Thank you to the person who changed it! 🙏
