Submerged is a third-person combat-free game in which you explore a mysterious flooded city and discover the beauty of desolation in vast outdoor environments. You take on the role of Miku, a young girl who has brought her wounded brother to the city in their small fishing boat. Navigate the flooded city streets by boat, scale the drowned buildings, and use your telescope to scour the city for the supplies needed to save your dying sibling. As you explore the city at your own pace, you encounter the habitat that flourishes in this colorful place and discover hidden objects that piece together the story of a broken world and a broken family.

- Cruise through the city streets in your small powered fishing boat, using your telescope to identify which of the various buildings contain supplies and mark them on your map.
- Discover the best path to the objects you spotted from afar. Dock your boat at tall buildings and landmarks and climb the vines, ladders, ledges and pipes as increasingly difficult navigation puzzles.
- Developed by an independent studio based in Australia, consisting of AAA veterans who have previously worked on the BioShock series, with music from BAFTA award winning composer Jeff van Dyck.

An adventure game without combat? Those are rare, and that’s what fascinated us about Submerged. Instead of battling for every centimetre, we took our time, exploring the mysterious flooded city for supplies and scaling tricky obstacles. An intriguing story emerges, but what we loved most was zipping from place to place in the boat—it’s just fun to drive!
Great game
I bought this game on a whim, intrigued by the no combat comment, and it is very enjoyable. I found adjusting the look sensitivity made a big difference to the playability of the game. I had it down to nearly the minimum setting (very low sensitivity) and that helped to resolve most of the issues with moving around the map. As I got to the end of the game there were more and more glitches appearing, including one where the very last boat upgrade has sunk below the water and is unobtainable- frustrating as I had completed every single section and unlocked all secrets. The load times were very long, and the end cutscene felt very rushed. For $8 I expected more from the ending. I felt that the developers were setting up for a sequel rather than giving the ending a satisfying resolution. With that being said, I loved the game. The puzzles were great and I cared deeply for the characters. I look forward to seeing more games by this developer.
Want to 5 Star This
I am loving this game. That's why I want to give it 5 stars. It's all about exploring. Something I really enjoy. There is no fighting either. Another thing I like. I get sick of adventure games that use violence in a way to keep the player entertained. I would enjoy this more if there were some puzzle solving elements added to the game. Regardless I'm having fun.
There are, however, 2 issues I'm having.
Firstly the game likes to crash A LOT.
Secondly it uses quite a lot of battery.
I'm using an iPhone 6 Plus.
