Good to know what hours I should avoid being in the sun
But why does the app still not keep track of my location when I am travelling?
I have mobile data turned on, and I have location services enabled, but still I have to tell the app where I am. Sometimes it gets my location when I go away from home, but never returns me to my home location.
As someone with very fair skin, it is helpful to know when I am at risk of skin damage.
This app makes managing this easy. A daily alert lets me know when I can be outdoors playing tennis without having to worry too much about sun protection.
I draw comfort from the fact that this app is free and from Sun Smart, a reputable brand I can trust.
So good in theory but very buggy (today it’s saying sun protection required 8am-8pm, after it’s obviously been dark for hours), I also wish it had more pertinent information such as is the sun protection advice the same when you’re talking about babies/kids or do they need it when the UV is lower too.
