So promising, yet so frustratingly unreliable
This ought to be the app of choice for serious swimmers who need an app paired with the new Apple Watch Series 2 to track swim squad training sessions, because it has a key feature the Apple workout app lacks - a drill function. But after giving this app a more-than-fair go (I estimate I’ve logged 100+ sessions) I’m deleting it from my watch. It’s so buggy that almost every second session ends up logging the wrong distance for a host of different reasons. I’ve emailed the developers with detailed feedback - zero response. Since WatchOS4 the Apple pool workout now also has auto sets so it is catching up quickly in terms of functionality. It’s a lot more accurate and reliable, and the summaries and displays are much better.
Was good for swims but stopped working on Apple Watch 2
App is ok and worth using up until now. Apple Watch Forcetouch (this the ability to stop the swim) has stopped working. You can start the swim but not stop. Forcetouch works on all my other Apple Watch apps. It is the latest app version and I have deleted and reinstalled app twice but still not working.
It is my favourite app on my phone.
Keeps me motivated to improve.
