Sydney Film Festival takes place at its flagship venue the State Theatre, as well as cinemas in the CBD, Newtown, Cremorne, Randwick, Western Sydney and more, screening films you won’t usually find in the multiplex.

Does the job
The Sydney Film Festival app is excellent at most of what it does. You can easily check your tickets and display them at the cinema. It also has a good calendar.
Its one weakness in the 2022 version is that it doesn’t let you select a seat when you book. For that you need to go to the website.
