Ratings and Reviews
Can be done but is quite finicky
As this is free and iOS screen sharing is in its infancy, don’t go expecting a quick and simple setup process just yet. I advise testing it on yourself first so you know what you have to explain to the customer as there are many steps. Also, very important to make sure you’re running the latest version of teamviewer on your computer otherwise you won’t see the screen sharing, just screen shots.
If you need to help guide someone on their iOS device in real-time, it definitely can be done with Teamviewer apps.
Beware of scammers
This is an excellent product but unfortunately scammers attempted to use it today to access my iPhone. I did not allow them a connection but be aware ! No legitimate company will request access to your devices for refunds !!!
Great app - don’t accept calls from those you don’t know
Great app. Invaluable for supporting IOS devices especially for elderly relatives overseas. Please impress on them to NEVER accept connections from someone they don’t know - even if they say they are the queen. Then they won’t get scammed. We only use when I am on the phone talking to my mum and it’s brilliant. Please help your old folks to stay safe from scammers and and don’t blame the tool.
