Absolute Embarrassment
This app should reflect on the teachers and developers of treehouse as a complete embarrassment.
1. Can't rotate the view when watching a workshop
2. Can't search for a lesson
3. Is the slowest app I have on my iPhone currently
4. Freezes and is buggy
5. Can't get a feed of the latest videos
... and I could go on.
Don't you think if teenagers and school students can make apps in their home with these features a business that charges a minimum of $25usd per month could find a teacher that knows how to build apps and not just read and regurgitate documentation off a website.
Your videos are of sound quality but your website (up until maybe the last year) and anything else you have built has been rubbish. Your user experience is one of the worst.
You preach about user experience, design and programming but it seems you forgot to employ best practises yourself.
Please take this review and get your act together and fix this. Or someone will come along with the same videos and a better user experience and you'll wave goodbye to all your students.
I have now been a student for around 3+ years and have been waiting anxiously for an iOS app to come out for my iPhone and then this happens. I'm over it, I think I will be cancelling my subscription after this.
Update: it's been a further 3 months and still nothing has happened. Not good enough!
Only one issue
This app is okay for watching videos but I can't code in the workspace. It won't let me type anything our even bring a keyboard up? Can you fix that so we can code on our handheld devices? Then it'll be a better star rating!
