What's New in Version 4.1.4
- Stability improvements
5 years ago the government did a public transport app that was probably the best in the world. Now they contract third parties and we get this stupidity. The filters are terrible. They'll give you the next public transport option, even if it expects you to walk 100m, enter a train station and get to the platform in under a minute, but then the following options will be cycling and car share that you specifically told it not to show. How is it possible to get worse in 5 years?
Many incorrect addresses and locations
A lot of searched addresses are incorrectly placed. Too much clicking required with too many menus. Relies too much on searching exact address instead of preloaded ones. Sometimes I would search a railway station to plan my journey but then the results tell me to walk 2 minutes to that station despite already having selected that I start from there. Good effort though.
Fantastic public transport app
TripGo is an indispensable app for people looking to use public transport in Sydney, and not sure how to go about it.
Extremely helpful for working out where to go, what to take, and how much it's likely going to cost. The scheduling aspects are also really useful.
