So far, so good...

I have just started using Up with the Up24 wrist band. I don't have huge arms, but the largest size is still a bit small. I wish there was some way of better securing it to my wrist.

The app seems to be working ok, as I gradually become familiar with everything. It is not totally intuitive, which means that some form of detailed manual would help - but there doesn't appear to be such a manual.

It took me a little while to work out how to include exercise into the program record and I am still unclear just how it allocates my effort if I use weights or an elliptical trainer.

If Jawbone want to keep a share of the increasingly crowded wristband market, they need to start by making their offering easier to use and more physically adjustable. A detailed user manual would be a good start.

All that said, I don't regret my purchase and may even come to love it once I become more acquainted with all the features of the package.

New food doesn't always update

Sleep monitoring is accurate. Food monitoring is basically useless. I have used this diligently with one major flaw being apparent. New foods entered into consumed meals don't always update. The pre-listed foods work fine. Currently offers no incentive to upgrade to the UP24. I wish I stuck with my old UP as the sleep monitoring was just as good. The app looks sleek and easy to use, however, basic advertised functions are limited in use.

Excellent Motivator

Up is a brilliant piece of technology, the app is quite well designed and compliments the band perfectly. The only gripe I have is that I use Strava and am quite disappointed by the data conversion - how can Strava tell me based on power meter and HR monitor that I burnt over 200cal for my interval session and UP translates that to 33cal? Not Cool. Please fix your integration!
