VacciDate is a tool to help you manage your child’s vaccination schedule in Queensland for children up to 4 years of age. Please ensure the most recent version of IOS has been installed to ensure the best functionality. VacciDate enables the user to enter a profile for each child; appointment dates for vaccinations; receive reminders at one month, one week, one day and one hour before the next vaccination is due or appointment scheduled; and store a record for each child. VacciDate exports appointment information to the user’s personal calendar, please ensure notifications are turned on within the app and your phone. VacciDate also provides access to the Vaccination Matters website.
Improvements, and bug fixes.
Ratings and Reviews
As all other reviews have said - automatically says all immunisations are overdue (even if they are months or years into the future) unless you manually set all dates yourself. No separate function for immunisation due date and actual appointment date. ‘Save Schedule’ button does not work at all. Has potential but app developers need a serious review.
Dates are incorrect and not all vax info available
The app calculates the vaccination due date incorrectly. Also there is disparity between the info on the Qld Health website and the app, specifically the Rotavirus. App states that a rotavirus booster is needed at 6 months but this is no longer true if 2 doses where given at earlier vax dates. This could cause worry and confusion and should be updated to reflect the new change.
Dates all incorrect
When I first used this app a few years back, it was great. Current version is terrible! It says all the vaccinations are overdue when they are not. It does not calculate the dates they are due. You cannot add extra vaccinations you have had and it only goes to 4 years old. Very sloppy work considering this is a government supplied tool. Developers should be ashamed.
